Trophy Wife @ Birthdays, Dalston

Upon finishing their self-titled debut album, Trophy Wife also decided to put the band to rest and move on to do other projects. They had a handful of shows to celebrate the album including Birthdays, a rad basement venue below Psychic Burger in Dalston. It was a perfect space for the amount of energy we all threw around as we jumped and danced to every single song. It was an amazing show and only made us more bummed that we won’t be hearing more from them as this band.

7th Annual Vinyl Record Fair, Brussels

As we were adventuring around Brussels, we found a ghost record shop with no signage outside. I don’t even think we figured out what the name was. But they had loads of great 80’s pop and post-punk and just great finds overall. Β The guy could tell we were collectors so he told us that the Brussels Vinyl Record Fair just happened to be going on that weekend. Β Apparently, people travel all over for it and I can see why! Now to figure out how to get back to that shop…
